The new ExpandaCare bariatric bed adjusts from its full width of 54” to 39-1/2” in less than one minute. This allows it to pass through doorways and elevator entries as narrow as 40 inches, resulting in fewer transfers, less chance of injury for both you and your patient. This is the only true transport bed with 1000 lbs. capacity and adjustable width.

The 4400 Series Bariatric Bed is used primarily as a patient bed. It is controlled by a Ten-Button Pendant. Only one button needs to be pressed per feature.
The 4400 series raises and lowers from 19" to a maximum height of 30" (floor to mattress pan). Overall bed length is 89". The side rails slide up and down for easy patient transfer.

The 4700 Series of Bariatric Beds feature electrically driven head (fowler) and foot (knee gatch) elevations. This general-purpose unit is used primarily in nursing and private homes.
The unit is designed to be flexible for use in a variety of situations. For ease in handling, the bed frame is shipped in two pieces.
Mattress pan width ranges from 48" to 60". Six legs distribute weight over a large floor area and provide a height of 14" from floor to mattress pan. The optional post and pin legs provide adjustments in 1 " increments.
Casters provide ease in moving the bed to different locations within the room.
The appealing foot and headboard give a finished look to the bed
